Our Leadership
Sharon Douglas is the CEO of Potere Construction LLC, a Fort Worth-based firm specializing in heavy highway, commercial, municipal, and private construction projects. With over 25 years of leadership experience, Sharon oversees company operations, client relations, bidding, contracts, budgeting, and project management, ensuring excellence in every aspect of work.
Sharon earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Huston-Tillotson College and advanced her studies in Military Science Transportation at The University of Texas at Austin, where she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. She served two years on active duty and twelve years in the Army Reserve, achieving the rank of Captain while training cadets at The University of Toledo. She also pursued a Master’s in Human Resources Education Technology at The University of Toledo and The University of Iowa, and studied Architectural Technology at The University of Dallas.
Under her leadership, Potere Construction has grown from a small construction cleaning firm into a respected General Contractor and self-performing trade in concrete construction company. Sharon’s hands-on management style, strategic vision, and commitment to quality have positioned the company as a trusted partner in large-scale projects and joint ventures across the Fort Worth metroplex.
Her accomplishments have been recognized with awards including the Luna Established Construction Firm Award, Black Chamber Business Woman of the Year (Engle Award), and the Texas Governor’s Award and many others. Despite these honors, Sharon considers her greatest achievement the growth of Potere Construction into a company built on integrity, safety, and excellence—delivering exceptional projects and building strong communities.
Aubrey Hope is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of experience supporting small and minority-owned construction firms. His expertise spans cost awareness, production control, staff productivity monitoring, and contractor development across multiple states, including Texas, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, and Connecticut.
He has served in key technical and advisory roles, including Chief Technical Advisor for SCDP, Inc., where he managed major pump station improvement programs and contractor pre-qualification efforts. Aubrey has also supported large-scale initiatives such as the Everglades Restoration and the City of Fort Worth Integrated Program Management.
Aubrey’s background includes leadership positions in consulting, operations management, and community outreach. Since 2023, he has served as Chief Operating Officer at Potere Construction, LLC. He is also the long-time President/CEO of Williams & Hope Corporation, providing management consulting to small contractors.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business Management and has additional training in marketing, management, and sales leadership.
His core skills include contractor technical assistance, cost and production control, productivity monitoring, start-up strategy development, conflict resolution, compliance oversight, and contractor competency assessments.
