OWNER / PRESIDENT

SHARON DOUGLAS

Sharon is a graduate of Huston-Tillotson College in Austin, TX with a B.A. in Business Administration. Sharon also studied Military Science Transportation at The University Texas of Austin and later

commissioned to the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant.  She served two years active duty and

12 years in the Army Reserve. While serving as a Captain in the Army Reserve, Sharon trained cadets at

The University of Toledo and continued her education in the Master’s Program for Human Resources Education Technology at The University of Toledo and the University of Iowa.  Sharon also attended

the University of Dallas where she studied Architectural Technology.

 

Sharon is the sole owner of Potere Construction LLC with offices in Fort Worth, TX and Atlanta, GA. Her daily role is to manage the operations of the company to include Building Customer relations, Bidding, Proposal Writing, Contract Review, Budgets, Project Management, Personnel Management and Training.

 

Sharon has received several awards in the industry, including the Luna Established Construction Firm Award, Luna Rising Star Firm, Black Chamber Business Woman of the year Engle Award, NCTRCA Outstanding DBE of the Year, and the Texas Governor’s Award 2018 among others. Although she has received many awards, Sharon’s greatest accomplishment has been to direct the company’s growth

from a construction cleaning company to a heavy highway self-performance company with outstanding experience and financial growth. 

CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT

CRAIG DRIESSNER

Craig served his country honorably in the 82nd Airborne division, where he did two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After serving he then attended The University of Texas at Tyler

where he graduated with a BA in Business Administration, with a focus in accounting.

In September 2014, he became a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Craig’s prior work experience included Chief Financial Officer for East Texas Border Health

Clinic. His other experiences include governmental, non-profit, pay day loans, subprime auto

loans, progress measurement for engineering firm for refineries, retail and rent to own industry, financial reporting and analysis, presentation of financial statements to stake holders, tax, and forensic audit of construction contracts.

He has served as a Controller for a $35 million start up retail rent to own company. Craig joined Max M. Wayman & Associates, Inc. in May of 2015 as a tax resolutions associate dealing directly with IRS and client representation. In January of 2019, Craig became the Chief Financial Officer for Potere Construction LLC.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

marion douglas

Marion is a graduate of Paul Lawrence Dunbar High. He attended Sam Huston State University where he studied business and music. Marion also studied at UT Arlington and Huston Tillotson University in Austin. He is a graduate of Remington College. Marion spent the first part of his career working as a Medical Assistant at Hadley Clinic. He has a vast amount of knowledge in customer service. Marion experience in Customer service was gained while working at Texas Utilities, Greyhound Line Inc., and Mid-American Nation Bank Ohio. Marion has also worked as a Legal Assistant for Glynis McGinty Attorney at Law and Hobert T. Douglas and Associated Attorneys at Law as Legal Assistant and bookkeeper. Marion is a music enthusiast and serves in the community as Choir Director St. Andrews UMC and he serves on the Board for The Black Musicians Association of Tarrant County.

SUPERINTENDENT

JAIME ALFARO

Jaime is native of  Michoacan Mexico. He moved to the United States with his parents at the age of 14. Jaime’s passion is working in the construction field. His experience has allowed him to work in different states throughout his career. Jaime is always open to learning new things in construction and technology. He demonstrates his commitment by building a great work environment and his responsibilities include maintaining the project budget, plan communication, crewing, training, material inventory, and daily production reporting.

ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

JORGE OCHOA

Jorge is a resident of Fort Worth, TX, and has been working in Construction since 1997.

 

Jorge has been an employee with Potere Construction since 2011. His responsibilities include operator training, daily crewing and production, site production documentation, communications to superintendent and owner, and equipment maintenance.
